- Mediterrane Art, bis ins zentrale Mitteleuropa und in die Schwarzmeerregion verbreitet. In Deutschland nur noch ein aktueller isolierter Fundort. Reliktart.

- Die bei uns monophag an Marrubium vulgare lebende Art wird aktuell nur noch aus Sachsen-Anhalt gemeldet. In Deutschland sind starke Rückgänge der Wirtspflanze zu verzeichnen.
