- Die ungefährdete und vor allem osteuropäisch verbreitete Kugelassel A. versicolor (Abb.: siehe Publikation für Abbildungsnummer) kommt nur im Südosten von Deutschland vor. Dort lebt sie in Wäldern unter der Borke von Bäumen.
