- Taxon aus der Ustilago striiformis-Gruppe; der bisher zu U. striiformis gerechnete Befall auf Dactylis glomerata bildet nach Kruse et al. (2018) eine eigenständige Art.
- Further comments
- Befälle auf Dactylis polygama werden aufgrund der nahen Verwandtschaft des Wirtes mit D. glomerata ebenfalls unter dieser Art geführt, obwohl deren phylogenetische Identität noch nicht untersucht wurde.
